About Grainor

Grainor started as a small woodworking operation inside a converted home garage where founder Ryan Cole began building custom hardwood furniture for local homeowners and interior designers. What began as weekend restoration and woodworking projects eventually grew into a dedicated workshop producing handcrafted furniture and interior pieces.

Every Grainor product is fabricated from raw lumber sourced from independent regional mills and hardwood suppliers. We primarily work with walnut, oak, maple, and ash, carefully selecting each board for grain quality, durability, and natural character before fabrication begins.

We intentionally avoid mass production and warehouse inventory. Every order is built-to-order after purchase, allowing our workshop to focus entirely on craftsmanship, finishing quality, and custom fabrication. From rough-cut lumber to the final protective finish, every piece is individually handcrafted inside our studio.
